I just came to know that Cassian will be with us tomorrow. Hubby only forgot to tell me. He knows about this since DiL told him two days ago. I also got told that Casian will sleep at our house, because son has to attend an important press conference, and his mother is very busy with son number two. Hubby knew about this, too. And I wondered why all of a sudden the bedding we had recently bought for Cassian surfaced on the drying rack. Should have raised a warning flag that there´s something cooking! I do not mind if my grandson turns my day´s schedule upside down, but I absolutely hate when he sleeps here. Shutters? Closed as far as those go. Windows? Tightly closed, a passing car might wake the young one (while I only can sleep with the window of the bedroom tilted). Coughing, sneezing? Strictly forbidden, might wake Cassian. Well, good luck with this, but I suffer from hayfever, and bouts of sneezing during night are common. Maybe I should ban the two of them to the guestroom on the ground-floor. Darker, more quiet- just what Cassian needs for sleeping. Save for hubby next to him, because hubby snores, but so do I now and then... Let´s say this day ends the way it has begun- with unforeseen events. I got up at 7:30 to find that Namo cat had peed directly in front of the litter box. I wiped away the fauxpas then went down to make breakfast. Sat down with my double americano and jumped up again a minute later, to save my car from getting hit by various garden tools hubby forgot to put back into the garage. Huzzah, storm Antonia was finally here. It was a short but successful visit. Quite a lot of snapped trees blocked streets and rail lines afterwards...
