...that, if you get your grandchild for an overnight stay that will end the next evening, the child will bring clothes enough for this period of time. Wrong! Cassian came dressed in a sweater too warm to wear inside and a shirt not warm enough to be worn alone. And torn trousers you can only wear inside, but definitely not made for going into shops. First thing hubby did was pack the little one into his car and buy him new trousers and a sweatshirt- and another tractor that went kaputt the moment it was out of the box. Then hubby did Leberkäse, and after lunch we put up the next dollhouse. Elsa had taken hers to her home (finally!!!), and Cassian was beyond sad about no more being able to play with the tiny dolls which did not look like dolls at all, but bore a resemblance to minecraft characters. Cassian is happy with the new dollhouse, daughter is, too, though the dolls are even uglier than the old ones...
We had another stormy night, and in the morning a few snowflakes were to be seen dancing in the wind. It's cold outside, but it is raining now. At least the storm has died down a bit but will be back tomorrow. No chance that I will be able to re-fasten the outdoor carpet on the balcony, which the wind has torn out of the fixtures!
