Oh dear, man flu!

Hubby is sneezing a lot, and he has uninvited Cassian. Not that he had felt inclined to tell me that he intended to bring him into our house in the first place... For the next days I will see a lot of tea cups, Grippostad wrappings and tissues all over the place! I think I will quit the daily crime soap on TV today, no need for getting sneezed on! Contrary to hubby I will need my organs of taste and smell for Easter cooking!
My kitchen is a mess. I have begun to reorganise the pull-out cupboard I use for spicery and sauces. I found three bottles of expired fish sauce. Hubby does not like fish sauce, nor do I, but it is needed in some recipes. Hubby always says leave it out. I wondered that I never found any fish sauce when I needed some. It must totally accidentally have wandered to the rear of the cupboard, to hide behind bigger, more loved bottles. And I wandered to our Chinese grocery store to buy a new one...
Husband just came back from the DIY market. He said that he´d bring new boxes for the spices. What he brought was wall colour. Not finding any boxes he thought that maybe painting the anteroom would raise my spirit. Usually it would, but not when family number three is due for a visit next week! I know the way hubby does paint- do a wall for half an hour, clean the rollers (for half an hour), do the next wall next day etc. ... This man is more involved in washing out rollers and brushes than painting!
Today is another grey day with low temperatures. We are supposed to see some snow flakes over the weekend, that´s why I took some photos, to show that we, too, have colours in our garden now!
