We got invited by family number two for pre-Easter dinner tomorrow. What will we have for dinner? Easter rabbit- eek! Daughter and hubby are delighted, they love game meat- I not so much! I know that I am picky, they all tell me that I am, but I do not care. So son will do a piece of pork for me (not the biggest fan of pork either, but I eat it without complaint). My job for tomorrow is do bread dumplings, because son always fails doing them.
Hubby has brought himself to start painting. If you ask me- bad idea, you cannot paint and blow your nose at the same time. And I was not even able to take a photo when he tried, because that would be unfair to hubby, when he was working so hard. Let´s just say that hubby had a hard time to get the white off his nose...
This morning it got even colder, snowflakes dancing in the hefty wind that kept me awake half of the night, because hubby forgot to lock the door to the outside basement stairs, which then happily slammed against the garage wall all night long. It´s not that I did not ask hubby to lock it up, when I went to bed early. Next time I will do it myself, even if I am already in pyjamas! Sleep is precious to me! Bad enough that our neighbours got a young dog again. Small house, small garden, young child, but it has to be a Rhodesian Ridgeback. They let the dog out during night, and then there´s a lot of barking and shouting to be heard. This in combination with the storm is deadly for a good night´s sleep!
