Success! Progress!

I finally did make some progress on project sun hat, even though I learned that I had overdone the number of stitches and had to unravel at least five rows, needle by needle, until I was back to the right number. I just did the first rows of the brim of the hat- a floppy one, a match to the shirt. Not much housework to do today, a bit of dusting, a bit of floor wiping, one load of laundry, that´s all. Cooking got done by daughter mine. Caught her just in time, before she was able to dump the whole package of Golden Curry into the sauce, which would have cost six Euro and surely tasted awful! Two cubes were just right. Daughter´s tonkatsu was fabulous as always...
Most of the work that should have been done around the pool got postponed because of today´s rain. At least the pool will fill quicker this way, because it alwys takes so long when using ground water only! Of course, hubby did not mind the rain and scurried in and out all day long. He loves to scurry, while I do not, that´s why he is slim, while I am not. Definitely not...
