...that, though daughter and I are disposing of at least four big bags of odds and ends each week, there seems to be less storage space in our cellar than before. For instance: I we emptied a commode for disposal. Today I found that hubby has refilled some of the drawers with things he needs for making bacon- only that he has already claimed a whole room for this. The shoe rack we cleared is now full with ski boots no one will ever use again. I do not even know where those came from, hubby must have emptied his stash ... So tomorrow will be another clear-out-our-cellar day. Books about World War 1 and 2 that son has readied for a giving-away (he needed them for his studies) got neatly piled next to the stairs and will go straight to the next bookbox; boots, crockery on the trailer- hubby will have to empty it after this next round of disposal, and at the right place this time! The old children´s kitchen I had put on the cargo area still has not found the way to the rubbish tip! This one was meant to go to a flea market, but Cassian managed to ruin it before we did so, when he found it in the car port.
Just when I had gone through my stash of wool for the next Elsa-project, I got a call from nunber three- Elsa needs a traditional jacket matching her dirndl dress. And she needs it soon, for her father is invited to a meeting of fellow hunters and will take his daughter with him, while mum will stay at home and rest. I have two weeks to do this project and bring it to their home then. Oh joy, another three hour drive to get to them! Besides, this was a close call, I had intended to start knitting the jacket I had posted tomorrow, with exactly the wool I now need for the other one! I might run low on wool anyway (got bought in Bucharest, so no further purchase possible), but I think I found a solution to the problem- hopefully there´s a video on Youtube, how to do this the way I want! Wish me luck!
