 Hubby did a spectacular tumble with his bicycle today. Too fast as with all things he drives (practically all radar tickets we get are caused by him) he tried to get up a short slope as fast as possible, so that the car behind him would be able to overtake only at the top. Problem is that everybody here loves to take money from motorists (be it taxes, be it tickets), but nobody feels responsible for keeping streets in a good shape. Hubby found the big pothole filled with grit. Result is a scratched face, scratched knees, elbows and knuckles. He might stay at home for some days, because he looks like Frankenstein, but only a bit...
Though being under the weather, husband mine managed to throw a tantrum, when the bill of the technician, who maintained the aircon, appeared in the mailbox- almost 600 euros for being in the house for one hour only, without changing any filters and the like! In our next lives hubby and I want to be technicians! At least those know how to make money aplenty!
Weather is strange these days- cloudy in the morning, sunny towards midday, and from then on there might be thunderstorms. We had one yesterday, and it´s a drama with Cassian when it comes to thunder. By the way, Cassian got something wrong with "Blitz und Donner". For him it´s "Blitz and Donuts". No wonder that he does not want donuts at the bakery. He thinks they are explosive...
