May. 8th, 2022 06:56 pmIshould have knitted two whole sleeves by now, but apparently the goddess of wool is not kindly disposed towards me recently. I was happily knitting along this morning and made it to the second armhole, when I noticed something strange- two more stitches on the left side of the cable than on the right side. Back to the cuff it was, and after some more errors I gave up and started to prepare today's late lunch- filet of pork, asparagus and mashed potatoes. And strawberry cheesecake. Family number three showed up for coffee but left soon after under much protest of Cassian, who wanted to stay. Then number four phoned, to annnounce his arrival for tomorrow. This house is a madhouse!
Now I will do a few more rows of knitting, before I turn on TV. This day sucked! Oh, I forgot to tell that I did a hectic cleaning of the upper bathroom in the morning, because it smelled as if Vaire cat had forgotten to use the litter box in favour of a nicer place to poop. Poop was in the litterbox, as always. Turned out that daughter dearest had warmed up some kimchi she'd found in the fridge. Without a fume hood the consumption of ripe kimchi is definitely not to be recommended!
