Sudden death

My internet died on me yesterday evening, just when I needed it most. It had been wonky for days, me not being able to do a proper Whatsapp phone call anymore. But I did not think it would come to this- total blackout. After some hectic minutes of me trying to activate my mobile provider´s net I gave up and concentrated on the song contest. Not that there was any doubts who´d win the competition, which, in my opinion, was wrong- I am talking in the name of those, whose contributions were more than a tad better and who now run as those, who had been sacrificed in favour of those, who have a very hard time during the rabid miniature pinscher´s rampage. It´s a competition which should concentrate on music, not politics. I do not think that Russian people will have been impressed by the result, what I think is that they did not even watch the contest, because they weren´t able to. So daughter and I concentrated on the songs and the commentator, who unfortunately was not at his best and only began to use his sharp tongue with the last songs. To make matters worse, we found that the bottle with salsa had not been properly screwed, and that we had to clean carpet and sofa after the song contest had ended. Just what I wanted to do before going to bed...
Today we are back to usual- wonky internet, but at least functioning most of the time. I am dead sure that husband mine will take care of the problem soonest, because he´s the one who hangs around the PC more than daughter and me together!
I had my first swim in the pool today! Cool, but refreshing, when it´s 28 outside. Unfortunately, during night weather might change from cloudless to overcast, so watching the lunar eclipse might not be an option. Not that I´d be able to watch the spectacle anyway, because you´d need unobstructed view towards southwest, and all that I can see there is hills, mountains, and even more mountains... Another lost opportunity to see such a natural phenomenon- solar eclipse and blood moon always makes me think how fascinating this world is!
Oh, and I did it! Both, jacket as well as jigsaw!
