Car is at the repair shop. So from tomorrow on my husband will be off with my car, and believe me, no matter how high the prices for gas, he will do so each day at least twice. Tomorrow my friend will pick me up for a trip to Germany, where I will have to restock on toilet articles and wool. Maybe I will do two identical jackets for Elsa and Cassian. Little man is still so very sad that he won´t get a candy shirt, preferably the same as Elsa got! Found a pretty jacket with polar bears and fir trees on Pinterest, and the best thing is- there´s a pattern for free download! Haven´t done Norwegian knitting pattern for ages!
We had no thunderstorm but strong wind today. Lasted only for about an hour but killed two branches of the apple tree. Hubby is just picking up the things that got strewn all over the lawn. It has not rained much, but we are far from the scenario of drought that apparently has befallen Europe! Actually, I could do with less water from above! The only flowers and vegetables I have to water are located along the garden wall, where rain barely reaches them.
Hubby ordered new tiles for the terrace. Huzzah! Now that summer (hopefully) lies in waiting, we will have a construction site between house and pool- chiping off the old tiles, new levelling screed, tiling, grouting (I so love you, my online dictionary). Then there´s the long time you have to wait for the tiles to be available. I think I will put the garden furniture in the car port, where we will have our lunch on hot days!
