Jun. 19th, 2022 07:46 pmIt was 33 degrees at one PM, and 36 in the afternoon. Quite hot for June, but I can live with that. Besides, I fear we'll have another thunderstorm coming along around 22 PM. Means less watering of the vegetables to do, but I'd prefer more of the hot weather. Well, we have to take what we get! Oscar, Xaver and parents had lots of fun in the pool. Poor Cassian and family had to stay at home. Elsa's virus has done a perfect job...
I did see only three small bonfires yesterday evening, but that's hubby's fault alone. Back home from the BBQ he brought me a bottle of beer. Finally! Since I was the driver I had only water all day long. No fruit juice in the house, but plenty of beer. Ha! After the beer I got tired, had a look at the bonfires on the mountains behind the house then dressed for bed, wanting to watch the fires on the mountains on the other side later. When I woke up it was 7:30 in the morning. This was indeed a good sleep, the longest I've had for a long time. Unfortunately it started way too soon. So water for me this evening, and maybe a glass of cider. The air condition is on, to create a bearable temperature in the sleeping room. Currently it's 26 degrees!
