Aug. 22nd, 2022 07:45 pmAfter a three-hour shopping spree I was dead on my feet. I am not used to be up and walking anymore- that's what happens, when you are a lazy bum. My friend and I had a nice time at a coffee shop afterwards, basking in the sun with a latte and apple cake each. Feels like autumn already, and all the falling leaves add more to this feeling, though it's been this summer's dryness which caused this. Where I live corn is high and green. 30 kilometres afar it's half the height and withered. Same with the trees- our woods are green, while just at the border to Germany I thought I'd be in the middle of autumn with all the yellow leaves dancing with the wind.
At the shopping centre I met number one with sons. They had been on the way to the zoo in Munich, when Oscar decided to get sick. They had to do a U-turn, made a short stop to buy groceries then were to go back home. Oscar never gets sick during school year, only during holiday time. He better do it the other way round!
Number two just came back from Bucharest. Number four will arrive for a three-day stay this evening. Tomorrow I will have some catering to do for my guests. I think my days of rest have just come to an abrupt end...
