Another piece of history written

I spent the day (after having overslept for more than one hour) with knitting while watching TV. There was enough leftover from yesterday´s curry, the house was clean, so what! I do not think that there´ll be another event like this in the near future. And Britain has done it´s outmost to honour the late Queen and succeeded! I loved it, but not the commentary team. I was so fed up with all the taunting about monarchy, the scandals that got dragged forth, the question when the Commonwealth would come to an end and which countries would be the first to leave and which diamonds should be given back first. Ladies (it was ladies mostly who commented), this has been a laying to rest of one of the longest-serving monarchs (well, not exactly, this will happen in the evening, and we are not invited) and no day of gossip! I was apalled at a lot of moments and decided to turn on my PC- to read curiouswombat´s comment on my last post. From then on it was BBC. Wish I had come upon this solution myself! Thank you, BBC, for bringing Kommissar Karow into picture again, but I´d love to know which garde has done the service of carrying the late Queens coffin. THIS might have been a valuable information, but no... There was one moment that was deeply moving, when scepter, orb and crown got placed at the high altar, followed by the Don Giovanni moment (hopefully not), then it was over. At least I made a lot of progress with knitting, though it could have been even better, if I would be able to read the pattern correctly. So it was as always- knit ten rows, unravel four, knit ten again... It gets annoying, but the backfront, two sleeves and the right forefront are done now. Tomorrow I will have to do some errands, before hubby and my car will be off again, so no knitting!
And look, I just had my first glimpse of snow this autumn!
