Daughter informed me yesterday at nine in the evening, that she did not need me for getting to the airport, she wanted to spend the evening with her friend and prepare all thinggs she needed for Vienna Comic Con this weekend and take a cab to work afterwards. Now I have to ask myself: Will that girl ever grow up? Does she even want to?
I harvested practically all red chillies on the two bushes which are still out in the garden. And detected that there´s a whole load of chillies still on the way to ripening. And I had wanted to throw those plants into the organic waste bin! Now hubby will hover over them as long as possible. That´s my man, defender of the last chillies and tomatoes! The pumpkins he has cut off two weeks ago, though they weren´t nearly ready for harvesting. Hubby said he needed to mow the lawn. He has not mowed that part of the garden for some weeks, a few more days might have been appriciated!
My kitchen furnishing is awful. It´s not only that it´s quite old (but functionally still), but since I dragged dining table and chairs into the living room (I do not need that much place there for grandchildren doing races on their tricycle) the kitchen looks out of proportion- but now I have found son´s old sideboard in the garage, hidden behind bicycles. Sideboard is freshly screwed together by hubby, I gave it a proper cleaning, now I only have to decide how to proceed: foodstuffs, tableware or kitchen appliances, or a mixture of all?
My throat s hurting again. This time it cannot be covid, I haven´t heard of people who caught it twice in the span of three weeks. And I definitely do not intend to be the first case who achieves this madness!

There´s more sickly yellow to see now in the woods. I really wish we had trees that would paint the autumn red, but no...
