Let it snow, let it snow...

Did the daily cleaning, the daily cooking, the fortunately non-daily burning of the lunch (technically it was not burnt, just a little bit too crispy because of too much cheese in not enough cream) then had a short nap upstairs, while hubby rested in front of the TV. That alone drives me crazy, because rest is rest, and watching TV is watching TV, which affords attention and electricity, electricity which gets wasted, when you fall asleep and do not watch at all! Hubby mawed the lawn after resting, all of it, which drove me crazy again, because I had told him that I needed a lot of space in the organic waste bin this weekend- there are shrubs to cut back and five big chilli plants to dispose of! I fear that both shrubs and chillis will have to wait another week!
Since I was very bored in the afternoon, I decided to look for small Halloween presents for the little ones. This is was I got them- enough sweets inside the plush toys to get over the fact that they won´t do trick-or-treating. Most of our neighbours play dead on that evening. It´s now worse than ever- when my children where youngsters, people were more open-minded. And we had more toilet paper...



I drove to Lidl first, to buy a hand-held stitching machine and presents, then to KIK, to have a look at what they are selling at the moment. Found nothing except for artificial snow for decoration. I bought four packages, but came home with three only- fourth package I unintendedly brought to explosion in my car. Wow! There´s a lot of snow on the passenger seat now, I will have to remove it tomorrow, because the storage battery of the vacuum cleaner is down to zero. And I asked hubby yesterday, if I´d better plug it in!
Absolutely no knitting got done today. My fingers still hurt, because that darn Norwegian pattern made me knit so cramped! I will have to make use of the salve with incense I bought in the apothecary. Usually this will help against the pain...
