Oct. 21st, 2022 08:04 pm...weather turned from warm and sunny to still quite warm, but rainy. My friend decided that she would come over for coffee at my house. Works well enough, better than nothing. I did a quick clean-up of the conservatory, where our chilli plants had been stored, before I had to bring them onto the terrace again- lice alarm! Better no chillis than lice everywhere! And those plants have shed a lot of leaves, that is for sure!
I just got two more inquiries for our plans for Halloween- apparently people still remember the parties we once had! Sorry, but definitely no more guests! This day is family-only now. I also got an inquiry for Christmas from number one and family. Originally they had planned to spend the holidays someplace far away, but Oscar wants to stay and celebrate Christmas with grandparents and cousins. So Christmas will be a crowded one- all children and grandchildren in the house- and no bed left for number two to sleep in. Oh dear, drama will ensue! I will have to think for a solution to the problem! Maybe hubby will finally declutter the so-called music room no one can make use of, so that we will be able to put a make-shift bed in there!
