Welcome to my dreamland

 Welcome to New Imladris, the dream land of my elves, which looks like the parking area of a Ski lift with a lot of kiosks around. I did cookie baking with Lord Glorfindel (eggs, sugar and carrots only, and he always sliced his fingers when rasping them), swimming lessons with Lord Elrond (he threw his only pupil into the swollen mountain stream then had to go after him, because he got sucked into a pipe and would have drowned otherwise), had picknick with Glorfindel plus cookies on a scarf blanket (blanket with a fiery eye at one end, scarf at the other) while sitting next to a camper with German Elves with eye patches, who were not only unfriendly but murderous, too, and had abducted the Lord of the Parking Area, so that we had to chase them in Elladan's car to a stone quarry near mum's old house (there´s indeed one with lots of tunnels from WW2) Oh boy, Elladan was such a lousy driver, that I almost felt ill (might have been the slice of pizza. leftover from Super Bowl night)! I did a lot more things in my dream, but at least you know now, why I wake up laughing loudly so often!

There´s another funny story, this time a real one: I wrote that hubby got designated with monitoring the repair work in my sister's flat. The coordination of those repair works is done by a company which organises house management and renovation. Yesterday at nine in the morning hubby got a call from the company. They made an appointment for installation of the dehydrators at seven thirty today morning. Yesterday evening sister phoned and told hubby that a worker had called her to tell her that he had not been able to get into the flat. No big wonder, the company had made an appointment for today! Hubby drove to the flat early, another worker showed up, did his thing then left. Hubby returned- he's the poor one who has to let the workers into the flat, because sister mine is still active in job and lives in Germany. We had just started breakfast when hubby got another call: a worker from another firm connected with the company was about to arrive at the flat during the next hour, to start rendering the walls now that the dehydrators had been removed. Sorry, but no, they did not get removed, they had been installed just an hour earlier! Sister got informed, because it's her who has to pay the company who delegates the workers. I think that she was quite upset at that time and might have told them off. And I seriously hope that those people in the company won´t organise their family life the same way- being lousy in job is one thing. Being lousy as a family planner will definitely end in fiasco!
