There and off again

 Hubby picked son up at the trainstation, brought him to our house, where he took a quick shower then took hubby´s car and was off to town, the bigger one. I got a box of chocolates from hubby, son´s on-and-off girlfriend got some spring flowers, which looked a tad battered after the long train ride. We did a quick exchange- son took my spring flowers and I got his. Girlfriend will get pretty hyacinths in an even prettier pot, I have battered ones in a plastic pot. To cover its ugliness I have already put moss around it. Hubby had that strange look on his face when passing by the pot- I think he assessed how much time would pass until he was able to maw the bedded-out hyacinths down. He does, he always does!
Fun game with company is not over yet. Today they did a call, to tell hubby the upcoming appointments. Hubby wrote them down and stuck the note to his monitor. I swear I heard the cogs in hubby´s brain turn, and then he began to holler- those idiots had ordered the bricklayer at eight in the morning, while the one to disassemble the desiccators would show up after midday. See what I mean? I think that the same problem got discussed with the company the day before. Technician first, bricklayer second! Won´t those idiots ever learn their lesson?
Daughter and I are back- no, not to health, but round two of the cold. Sneezing and coughing had been better for one day, but now both have picked up pace again. I haven´t been out, because I am allergic to a lot of things which are about to flower early this year, so I decided to wait for a rainy day when pruning the trees. I haven´t met up with friends, who might have brought a new virus into the house. But son told me that the same had happened to him after Christmas- a cold for a week, one day feeling better, then another week with sneezing. To type this entry I wished I had either a wiper for my monitor (yuck!) or a soft clothes pin for my nose...
