Friend picked me up at eleven. We did a stop at a wool shop, did not find what we wanted then drove to an Asian supermarket, where I showed her which ingredients she´d actually need to buy to be able to do some Chinese dishes. The owner of the shop is a super-nice person, who even phones me when a new batch of Japanese mayo has arrived. Japanese mayo is much sought-after, even though it´s friggin´ expensive, so she always calls if I need some, and it´s always a yes. No mayo today for me, but lots of vegetables I won´t get at the supermarket. They even had those perilla leaves I need for Korean BBQ! Daughter will be delighted! Last time we used the leaves of iceberg lettuce- no comparison! Neither friend nor I were interested in more shopping activities, we went back to her car and drove home. Well, almost, we did a stop at a bistro on the way to our house, had coffee and a snack, but not lunch as we had expected to do. I think it´s the weather which made us drowsy, and we both had a headache. 23 degrees and föhn- what a combo! I am a bit worried about my friend´s health- the shaking of her hands has intensified, and she seems generally off balance, though she pretends to be fine. I took a headache pill after she had left then had a late nap for about half an hour, when finally daughter dearest arrived. She will stay here until tomorrow and feast on the Spooning Cookie Dough her brother has brought for her. Oh dear, I got one, too, that thing must have sent my sugar readings to heady heights! Good that my doctor did not know about this!
Tomorrow daughter and I will remove the big rug from the studio and give it a good beating then a chemical anti-moths treatment. Not that I found moths, but you never can tell! Beating will be done by me, chemicals applied by daughter. I definitely do not want another asthma attack! Hubby is on alert- I think he will bring Cassian into play and invite him for another sleepover. He can do so, but he won´t keep me from re-arranging the furniture, even though it´s most likely next week that daughter will be free from lectures for two days in a row. And two days we will need for this project!
