Tough job

Finally- half of the reorganising done! Huzzah! Hubby got up early, to get to son number two´s house as soon as possibly, which would have greatly interfered with my plans- I need some time in the morning to get me up and running smoothly. I managed to keep him in the house a while longer by telling him that the family always has late breakfast on Sundays (which is true) which he surely would not want to interrupt. The moment husband was off I plunged into work. All six drawers of the two dressers went onto the bed- hard work, I need to give away more of the bedding. Dressers went to the bedroom then- way lighter now without drawers, otherwise I would not have been able to move them. Wingback chair went the same way. Now I had room enough to drag the guest sofa under the roof slope, but only after thoroughly vacuuming and wiping the floor. The worst was the repositioning of my computer desk- all those cables! I managed to do it without unplugging them, only needed to loosen two screws of two skirtings and lead internet cable through the gap. Then I dragged the big rug back up from the living room and rolled it out. Okay, that was the worst part, because it´s hard to accomplish when you are alone. Dreassers are back in the studio, even though not at their final place. Next goal for the upcoming week- dressers into the bedroom, Ikea shelf into the studio as a room divider. Not that´s much room there to divide, but I will finally have a place to put my drawing pad and other gadgets into its compartments. Until now those led a miserable existence in a box in the corner of the studio. I think the last thing I used the pad for was doing my actual userpic. The driver will be definitely outdated...
When hubby came back I was almost through with today´s work. To say he was not amused is an understatement. He was looking for scratches on the floor, because it´s the husbands who are made for doing the heavy work- they don´t drag, they heave the mobiliar! There were no scratches- I almost felt sorry for hubby! For the Ikea shelf I will need his help anyway. If he´s not willing I will threaten him that I will do it without him. There´s an eighty percent chance that this threat will work...
Now I am tired but happy. The only thing I did not accomplish was cooking lunch. We had Berner Würstel (thank you, freezer!) with dark bread. Not exactly a lunch for Sunday, but it can´t be helped, even I have to set priorities!
