Another visit to the doctor´s office in the morning, because last thing I need is more pain in the ear for the next days. Maybe it was intuition, but I thought that three days on antibiotics could have done a bit more to the state of my health. The doctor did another test, and while I waited for the result, I got a message from hubby- Flavius and DiL both have scarlet fever. At least my doctor now knows where I got my positive test for streptococci from. And I thought that having scarlet fever together with my youngest ones would have been the last time I´d have to deal with this pest! Just goes to show you never know! But there´s one funny thing I can do at the moment: Now that my left eardrum ruptured because of too much fluids inside I can do cool sounds inside my head that might resemble the sounds a T.rex would have made when walking the woods. Yay, I have my private Jurassic Park!
I have shopped a new batch of wool for a summer jumper for Elsa. I will be hunting for cute examples for the rest of the long weekend. It will be a rainy weekend anyway, so no one will miss my non existing other activities. It´s not that I will neglect cooking and tidying, but crossword puzzles and garden work will be cancelled! But I can tell straightaway that there aren´t many examples that I might like, so I am open for suggestions- for most of the knitting I have done the last years I did not even have a knitting instruction but did one myself. I also have to admit that one time I failed, and spectacularely so, because the jumper was half finished, before I noticed the grave error I had made at the beginning...
