There were a few moments today when I thought that the sun would come out of her hiding place-and technically she did, for about half an hour every two hours. The rest of the time it was raining hard, so hard that a bit of water made it into the attic once again! Hubby wanted ramson-and-cheese dumplings for lunch, so he put on his wellies and stomped up a nearby wood. I had told him to bring at least half a kilo, because I also wanted to do ransom pesto. He came back with 300 gramm of green, which was not even nearly enough. Now hubby had to wait for the next time the sun was out then stomped into the woods again. At two in the afternoon lunch and pesto were finally done and I went for my daily afternoon nap- and woke at four thirty, having dreamed about which sort of Mercie I´d want to have with my coffee- cherry or raspberry. New diet makes me see chocolate all around, even in dreams. Okay, my dreams are odd always, just a few nights ago I had to feed Feanor´s brats, with Maedhros being the youngest in a high chair, wearing a onesie with mûmakils. I woke when he spit out his porridge and I tried to shout him down. Tried, because then his father entered the stage...
If the weather is not as bad as today, hubby will be off with number two and Cassian, to watch the May pole get put up. The ones with scarlet fever will have to stay at home for another day, but then we are free...
I think I found a very-easy-to-knit jumper for Elsa. Since I have wool enough I might do a jacket, too. Depends on my mood. But first thing- do a gauge then seek measurements in the WWW. Elsa wears size 116 at the moment..
