Nice, but too wet

 We got up early and left the house at 7:30 in the morning. I had my knitting project with me, because husband mine is the one who does the driving. Always. Even though it´s my car we use for travelling. But otherwise we would not be able to extend hubby´s collection of tickets. I am a slow driver, hubby is definitely not. We arrived in Graz around twelve- we always do a coffee break at half-time. Son and husband put up the new shelves, I did a bit of cleaning with the steam cleaner. We were hungry afterwards, so we drove to an inn next to the Eggenberger castle ground, where we intended to walk off some calories after lunch. It did not happen, because we had barely finished the third coffee of the day when a huge thunderstorm set in- lots of rain and strong winds included. So back to son´s flat it was, where we had more coffee and cookies and did some final measurements for the things he will need in the near future. When rain did not stop we decided to take off towards home earlier than expected and maybe do the detour to Hallstatt. A big no again- seems that we hit each and every thunderstorm between Graz and our house, and the detour includes some nice but windy mountain roads. For the first time I was glad that hubby did the driving- we could barely see the car before us because of all that rain! We made it back home hale, and what did we find? Daughter has not yet found the way home to her own flat and will stay for another night! Okay for me, this way we will be able to do some of the more complicated crossword puzzles in my new puzzle book!
