Two thirds done!

 During our Sunday trip I did a lot of knitting. Both sleeves of the jumper are finished now. I knew how long they should have been but had forgotten my measuring tape, and hubby had none either. At some point I stopped, because I am not so good at estimating. In son´s flat my husband handed me a paper bag for disposal, where he had kept the screws he had bought in a shop. It had a perfect metric tape measure on it. Hubby had not even noticed it! But I had done a spot landing with knitting! Today I cast the sleeves off and finished the jumper´s neckline. Next thing- seam all parts together then do the second layer!

Knitting always makes my hands itch like mad these days. Since putting on lotion does not help the smallest bit but makes my palms and fingers itch even more, I did a new approach on solving the problem. We have a bottle of Romanian schnapps no one wants to drink, because it tastes awful. I poured some of it onto a paper towel and wiped my palms. Instant relieve! Stiil do not know if there´s some miracle agent in the schnapps or my palms were so appalled that they decided to keep still, or more of the horrid fluid would show up. What I know is don´t cream with schnapps and drive. My fingers have been stinking for quite a while! Since I will be on a mission to Germany tomorrow, I will have to do the procedure two hours before leaving! One does not simply walk into a beverage store with hands reeking of schnapps. They might consider you a boozer!
