Cassian is quite a handful today. No wonder, he wants out into the garden, but it is raining hard and temperatures are down to nine degrees. What a nice May day! Currently hubby is setting the fireplace alight, because the three of us are freezing cold, and even more so because hubby has done washing- mostly the things Cassian has dirtied in kindergarten- and hung the clothes on the clothes horse. Who the heck lets the children out into the garden at such a weather anyway? When hubby picked our grandson up, the little one was so dirty that he had to chaange his clothes, using the ones he was to wear tomorrow- only that he soiled his shirt and jeans with what he calls tomato mustard (aka ketchup). He is wearing Elsa´s leggings and a pink polar bear sweater at the moment. Better not send Cassian to kindergarten in pink clothes, even though the boy loves pink so much, that he asked hubby if they could get pink hair colour- for me!
At least the boy helped me with the conservatory. All big plants are out now, arrayed on the terrace as a sort of jungle for the cats in the neighbourhood. They are roaming the newly added green the way cats do, when something has changed in their surroundings. It´s funny to watch them, some only sniff at the plants, others sit in the wet soil and others, well, you´ll know already. The moment the rain stops (two to three days) hubby will bring the plants to the garden wall, where they will be safe from strong winds. And Cassian helped me gather their pot saucers and wash them then sweep the conservatory floor. He is an eager helper, when water is involved!
And now it´s down to the living room, because Cassian wants to do anpother jigsaw. Good that I have bought some at the flea market!
