He did it again!
Jun. 24th, 2023 06:36 pm Today I spent a lot of time with cleaning and scrubbing, even though I was tired because of getting up so early. Of course, it´s always big bathroom cleaning time on weekend, but there´s more cleaning to come, and that´s why:
Xaver´s birthday is on Monday. Xaver wanted to have Schnitzel at the inn for birthday. The inn he wanted to go to will only open at six in the evening, which is too late, says his mother. Xaver has to be in bed at 7:30. So hubby stepped into the breach, inviting Xaver and family for Schnitzel done by grandpa. He must have known that DiL´s mother and her new friend would come, too. And that the woman is a bit trying, and her friend is the same. Daughter will also come for Schnitzel- from going to the inn to being the inn in the blink of an eye. Hubby is floored. I am not...
It has been a cool rainy day until late afternoon, but now the sun is out and temperatures are climbing rapidly. Idiot neighbour´s family is just mowing the lawn, with son and his wife alternately pushing the mower (believe me, they have to push hard after so much rain), wife of idiot carrying the electric cable and grandchildren rampaging in front of the mower. Idiot neighbour himself is on a sunbed watching the spectacle. I fear he is rallying his strength for tomorrow morning. We will hear and see...
