Kaboom

 Hubby was on the terrace almost all afternoon long, but at four he dressed for bodily work- shovelling sand at son´s house. I pointed at the dark clouds that had begun to show up- he laughed it off. Half an hour later all hell broke loose here- storm, hail, lightning and thunder. I had to pile the garden chairs, so that they would not fly off, secure the door of the garage, which hubby always leaves open, and, and, and... I was soaking wet when those things were finally done, made me another cup of coffee and watched the spectacle through the windows of the conservatory. It was a very interesting light show with spectacular sound effects, but the tremendous kaboom right in the middle of it put on the alert- sounded as if our chimney cap had taken flight lessons again. Of course, hubby had waited the severe weather out at son´s house and did only show up, when torrential rain had downgraded to rain only. But he found the reason for the big kaboom I had heard: Idiot neighbour´s trampoline had taken off and landed upside down in their blackberry bushes. Happy extracting and putting it back together! I only noticed that idiot neighbour´s grandchild and his mother had a screaming match, that´s why I went to the studio to put on my earphone and do a bit of knitting. Listening to the screaming and hollering would surely have ended with me having one laughing fit after another. One day I will do a recording and put it on Youtube, so that other people, too, will have something to laugh about!
