I think I will limit Cassian´s sleepovers to ´cool days only´. With the windows in the studio closed, shutters down, curtain closed and the air con turned off sleeping was neigh impossible. We three tossed and turned all night long, Cassian had a crying fit at one in the morning (bad dream, too hot, we don´t know), and at five he was in our bed. The boy is used to cool temperatures (their house lies at the foot of the Untersberg) and darkness (new windows with blinds). And he hates our air con.
In the morning hubby drove to daughter´s flat together with grandson, to install insect screens, then brought the boy back to his parents and daughter to our house afterwards. I tried to catch up on sleep but switched to pool day soon after. No cooking got done today, because husband found a new Greek restaurant not far away, where we had dinner. I ate half of my serving, daughter, too. The rest got boxed and will get eaten tomorrow- another day without cooking! With temperatures up to 35 it´s too hot for doing proper meals anyway! And since all toys got put back into their boxes and the floor is vacuumed and wiped, not much housework will be waiting for me tomorrow!
