Free light show

 During night we got a fabulous free light show, until weather finally decided around three in the morning that it was about time to calm down, and local wildlife took over. Isn´t it fun to have two martens do races across the rooftop in the very early morning? Even hubby got woken by the ruckus they made! I love martens, and the farther away they are from our cars the better, so the rooftop definitely was a good choice to have fun!
Around ten hubby dressed for grocery shopping then picked the boys up. Since then our house has turned into a madhouse. The only time it was quiet was when the two rascals had a short after-lunch nap- time I used for tidying up. Hubby and I are living in a sea of Lego and Playmobil. Do you even know how much it hurts to step onto Lego with feet only clad in socks? I think I once wrote a fanfic with such a scenario. Now I wonder where I have saved it. Or if I did save it at all!
PS: Then came daughter-in-law, to pick the boys up and drop a bombshell: she will go to Romania for holidays for the next weeks. I thought hubby would throttle her- now that her helping hand would be needed for renovation work and occasional cooking for the workmen, she will be off to do what she can do best- holidaying. In Romania she has cousins aplenty, who will take care of the boys, while she can recover or do what she wants to do. Seems that I just got downgraded from nanny to cook...
