It gets even better!

 Hubby did not feel well today, upset stomach, just the same I suffered from yesterday- so maybe not the third glass of wine but a virus we got from son number two who infected Cassian who infected Flavius...but hubby also had a meeting with his ex colleagues today and was off in the afternoon, while daughter snd I worked on the jigsaw puzzle. Half an hour later hubby phoned and told me that number two had wanted him to pick our grandsons up, so that DiL would finally be able to pack the suitcases. It was a big no son got this time, because 1) hubby was already in Germany and 2) he had both seats for the children in his car. We did not hear more of number two, so he must have decided against bringing the two rascals to our house. Most likely, because DiL was still on a shopping tour and he did not have a car to drive. I would not have minded to have the two, because in the morning Amazon delivered what I had ordered a few days ago. Cassian and I have a routine- we choose two families of Schleich animals, and when they arrive we watch videos, which will show how those animals live in the wilderness. Play and learn, that's what we do. We have a veritable zoo already, and Flavius is quite good at building corrals with sticks he collects. Today the weather was finally better, we had only a bit of rain. Yesterday evening we got a downpour of epic proportions. When I was going down to watch TV I thought that I heard a strange plopping sound- water had made it into the upper hall, circumventing the roof window. Hubby will try to clean the window seal. It has worked with the windows of the conservatory, why not here, too... Too many building sites at the moment!
