A wet and cold day it was. I got up at three, came back home at four, fell back into my bed and slept like a log until eight. After breakfast hubby went into the cellar and brought up the boxes with warmer clothing. It will get warmer eventually, but better be prepared for autumn! We decided to not set a foot out of the house. No work in the garden, no grocery shopping, only being lazy. Worked well until number two phoned, to ask if hubby would be able to let the tiler into his house. His wife and the boys were asleep or off, no one answered his calls. Of course, hubby had to stay for a while and play with his grandsons, who had woken when they heard granddad's voice. When back hubby snd I sat in front of the jigsaw puzzle and found exactly 32 pieces. Not that much for more than one hour of hard staring! Then it was a cup of- no, not coffee, but tea, to warm up a bit, and then back onto the couch for reading and napping and reading again, this time cuddled under a warm plaid. Darn, I hate the cold so much, 12 degrees is definitely not enough for the end of August! Hubby must turn on the heating in the evening, or he will have to watch TV alone!
