No calm before the storm
Oct. 25th, 2023 06:56 pm A bit of an early entry, because there won't be time in the evening. A grandmother is never allowed to touch her mobile without one or two grandsons watching, if she might not watch a video and the like.
I did an early start into the day, because I wanted to run a few errands in the morning. And what did I accomplish? Right- next to nothing. At nine in the morning hubby left for a trip to a DIY market. Practically at the same time DiL phoned to tell me that I should pick Flavius up one hour early, because she wanted to take the eleven o'clock train to Vienna. I took Mr. Grumpy to Aldi then to our house. At least he has a soft toy he can take to bed now, when he has his afternoon nap- a dino hand puppet he fell in love with at the shop. I never understood why Cassian got his Hasi for going-to-bed ritual and Flavius got nothing! Since it's official pizza day today, I bought us (Cassian and me) a Pizza Quatro Formaggi for dinner. We will eat it in front of the TV, hopefully watching some interesting documentary. No early sleeping today, because we had a nice after-lunch nap. All of us, which is a good thing! Only then I managed a short tour to the drugstore- need nosedrops for the visit of family number three. They always come with a cold. They never bring nosedrops but want mine. The Schleich unicorns and the crafting utensils I ordered from Müller will get picked up by hubby on his way to the Concert Hall. That's after he has delivered grandson number two at his father's house and picked the four crates with fruit juices up from our fruiter. Elsa and her mother don't do the juices out of the Tetra PaK. Eye-roll seems to become one of my permanent characteristics...
