Ladies, I am back to the Celtic weave! Honestly, I was contemplating to skip this section of the throw, because last time I was so very near to completely quit crocheting. Then again, I really love the texture of that stitch- if only there weren't those darn back rows! So today there won't be any crocheting done in front of the TV- husband dearest does not love to spend the evening under spot lights- this is what we call the light our old hanging lamp produces. And I definitely cannot crochet this stitch in the dark...
Hubby has been very productive this morning- he has hung all Holiday lights plus the baubles onto the tree without leaves, the only one in our garden. All other trees do not want to shed, hence no Christmas decoration for them for now. Cassian will still have baubles to apply one day or other. But before hubby started working, he started with grocery shopping. Hubby off, me into the shower, at least so I thought. Doffed my pyjamas- ding, dong! Pyjamas back on again, through the window I saw the car of the parcel service. Hubby´s chopsaw had arrived, and I had to sign. Into real clothes then- cannot open the door in nightwear! The driver was a pleasant surprise- looked like a model for an elf- tall, strong, fair hair worn quite long, angelic face- only the thick glasses (must have been eight dioptries minimum) watered the impression down. At least he was nice and seemed in no hurry, but hubby could have warned me. Amazon is very precise with announcing the time of delivery, you only have to look at your account!
We butchered the smaller pumpkin for lunch. There's bacon, there's cream cheese, there's parmesan in the fridge. And our household will never run out of penne pasta. Turned out that it was way too much sauce for not enough noodles- the rest got turned into a soup for tomorrow, should need arise for hungry people. Lunch-dinner will get served around three in the afternoon only!
It´s 4.30 now and almost dark outside, even though there´s not a single cloud in the sky- yet. We are to get strong winds during night and a lot of rain, which might or might not turn into snow. Do I need snow? Nooooo!
