It´s the most wonderful time of the year...

 ...or maybe not. It´s cold, it´s raining- okay, not so much today, we even had a bit of sunshine- it´s so very romantic with all those Christmassy music all around (was it in today´s newspaper they wrote that playing Last Christmas in homes for old people should be on the prohibited list?)- and we celebrate the return of the masks. Yay! At least one out of ten people is already wearing one. Oh dear, not on my watch this time! When I cleaned my car last time, I still found masks hidden in places one usually would not have a look! Must have been hubby who hid them, to have one in case he forgot his own! Apropos hubby- he installed the icicle Christmas lights on the balcony rail today. I hate them, even though they look really pretty from a distance- but definitely cause a migraine with me. I have closed the roller blind, to get rid of their view- my PC is next to the balcony door!
So good that I got all what hubby and son number one need for their work in son´s cellar- they will start tomorrow before lunch time, and hubby will eat with them- no cooking for me, huzzah! It´s a holiday in our country, even though some of the shops will keep open. It´s funny to go back in time- the first time shops were allowed to open on December 1st, the door locks to many shops got sealed up with super glue! Super glue- the secret weapon of idiots! Those people got traced and had to pay a fine, today´s super glue heroes have nothing to fear!
wiseheart, I swear I haven´t become insane! I only want to test our snail mail. So there will be two Christmas cards in your mailbox at some time, but at what time God only knows. Remember last year? I brought my cards to the post office the same day you did. Yours arrived four days later. Mine was more than a month late. This year I do the test- one card comes the usual way, one is supposed to take between two and four days, and at twice the price. Maybe you will tell me which one arrives first? I do no more believe in our postal service...
