Hubby and I are very good at doing nothing at times. Today was such a day- cold, grey, made for lazing about, and why not? House is clean in most parts- I have done a lot of scrubbing yesterday! Cooking lunch was more of a ´get rid of what has to be out of the freezer´, and there are plenty of new books to read for hubby and me. Not even TV got turned on- no sports for hubby, no Fixer Upper for me on the TV programme. Hubby left the house only in the afternoon, to buy more boxes for storing the Christmas decoration. I put some tin figures into the first one (Santas and angels mostly), did the same with the rack Cassian had decorated, but left a lot of winter items- so, for instance, we still have a sledge but no angel to sit upon, and garlands of oranges and cones. I will never understand people, who put away Christmas decoration and start with spring and Easter. Well hello, astronomical winter has just started on December 21st, barely three weeks ago!
The only thing I need to undecorate is the tree, but it´s definitely too cold in the conservatory at the moment. Tree will have to wait. Doing jigsaws, too. No problem, as long as the mandala throw is not finished. I am in the last section already- at the moment I am working with 126 crossed triple crochets a row (it´s four of them, I am crocheting a square, adding four more stitches to each new row). If I won´t show up on LJ anymore, the Celtic weave has defeated me. It´s not so easy to crochet with a bruised thumb, which got jammed by a kitchen drawer...
