Twentyseven

 Darn, even though I am clearly favouring summer, temperatures are too high for me so early in April. Blessedly days are short enough to cool the house down, when the sun is off behind the hills. Hubby has not even bothered with doing another try for getting cleaning agents for the pool. He is in sit-on-the-terrace mood, clad in shorts only. We had to install the sun blind, or he´d be red as a cooked lobster by now- some job I hate, because I have to climb onto the ladder. Me and a ladder is a no-go. Hubby played nice and let me have the side, where I could cling to the wooden post if I felt dizzy...
Not much got done otherwise, it was simply too warm. Even lunch got eaten at four in the afternoon only- we weren´t hungry till then! I have started a summer top for Elsa but had to unravel a good part, because I miscalculated the stitches. Now I am back on track but lost the motivation for more crocheting.
I really hope that tomorrow will be a day without family visits, but I hear the gears in hubby´s head already turning! He wants to open the pool, but for this he will need the help of number two. I am too short to be able to carry the metal plates to the place they will oversummer. Maybe that´s the reason why he helped son with the last gutters this morning. And in return son (and the rest of the family, too) might come and help with the pool. Seriously, I do not intend to cook a fancy lunch tomorrow-it will get even warmer than today! Weather forecast says that we might scrape the thirty...
