Yellowishly hot
Apr. 8th, 2024 04:46 pm Temperatures went up to thirty degrees today, with föhn blowing like mad and Sahara sand turning the light into a sickly yellow. Hubby has hosed the cars in the morning and is doing it just now. Hubby loves this weather, I do not. Not yet, that is! I am caught in an Aspirin-induced lengthly nap. Isn´t it fun to live in a region, where föhn is a common phenomenon, and you belong to the twenty percent of the population who cannot tolerate it? That daughter-in-law has sent us our caretaking plan for this week does not improve the situation: Cassian from tomorrow on till Wednesday evening, both boys on Thursday and Friday afternoon. So no tour to the garden centre with a friend this week, because I cannot leave the boys alone with hubby. At least the new TV set is ready for collection tomorrow morning! Now I am a bit sad, because I have begun to love the green and grey colours!
I also did a lot of reading about the most complex character in the Potter series, because, finally, one of the books I have ordered from Amazon has arrived. My account is still closed, and it is a mockery that they sent me an email, to follow the outstanding order code when I cannot get into my account! Notwithstanding I think that the actor of the characzer added his piece of acting competence to make this character iconic. Ten years younger and being in good health, and even the I-love-Harry teenies would have jumped ship in flocks! A lot of them did anyway...
