Absolutely demotivated

 Still no new magazines for me, even though it was not snowing today. I simply did not want out into the cold. Bad enough that we found the origin of the mothly invasion- son has a carpet in his room my dad habought for this room. Only then the bed was less wide-now it´s a queensized one, which gets vacuumed once a week, yet moths loved to breed under the bed, whereto the vac won´t easily find its way. Poor hubby, suffering from back pains, heroically dragged the carpet into the carport, while I vacuumed, wiped and afterwards sprayed the floor with insecticide. Good that no one lives there at the moment, might be a tiny bit perilious for health. As for the carpet- I am contemplating to bring it to the dumpsite. It´s quite a job to get that thing moth-free- the pile is five centimetres high, it´d need a lot of beating and vacuuming and beating again, never mind all those insecticide sprays I´d have to buy!
The house gets colder day by day. No clue why, because the heating is running again and no windows were tilted in the bedrooms during night. I was able to make out one source of the problem: Husband mine has aired daughter´s bedroom (the one that reeks like a giant mothball) but forgot to close the window later on. By now temperatures should have been on their way up but weren´t- questions upon questions, how this is possible! BTW: It turned out that neither bedroom window nor the door to the balcony were properly shut thanks to hubby. Hubby is very careless concerning such things, and is daily exercising with drawers (and I have to stock up on Hirudoid every few weeks, because I hurt my shins on them). Husband mine benevolently started a fire in the woodstove. The warmth will soon make it upstairs. That in combination with the radiators will hopefully do the trick! I have a lot of mails to answer, and I do not want another runny nose!
Daughter has announced her coming for tomorrow, as are the boys. Not so sure about this, she has postponed twice already! Besides, there´s the thing with her nephews on Sunday, who both are besotted with their aunt. Only that aunt needs quiet and a mum, who lelps with the thesis, and not two young men turning the house upside down...
Has someone heard about the enforced gendering in the German language? Even in children´s programme it gets done regularly. Last time I noticed, Cassian and I were watching Lego Ninjago. But this beats everything for stupidity: Samenspender*innen, seen in a medium governed by public law . That´s female sperm donors. Good heavens, that´s more than dumb!
