Recuperating

 Last night´s grill party was fun and then again not. Must be because hubby and I came back home past ten in the evening, laden with food and radler, which kept me running to the loo every ten minutes for at least one hour. Then I went to bed, still listening to the ongoing party music while I did the daily evening reading. At two in the morning I woke to the sounds of an animal outside in the garden, which sounde suspiciously like a drunken duck on her way home- only that ducks do not slink around during night! I was not amused, took another trip to the loo and found hubby loudly snoring when back. And the cats outside having an epic cat fight, which ended with our neighbour loudly calling for her cats from the top of her exterior stair- at three in the morning. Needless to say that I was up for quite a while and slept in late.
Fortunately daughter and husband mine did today´s cooking, so I was able to listen to some contributions to the song contest on Youtube. I did hear a lot of crap and saw that proper clothing have not been affordable for many- poor performers, short of fabric, and even more short of decent voices! Of course, it´s been only a quick overview, but still...
The afternoon I spent answering various phone calls from my children and grandchildren. Darn it, Cassian is already able to make use of his mum´s cell phone! I can tell that she was not amused at all when she found him in a conversation with his grandma, asking if she had already wrapped his birthday presents! Her bad, she will have to hide that thing from her offspring or get used to higher phone bills!
