Done!

 

The darn jigsaw is finally finished. It was shitty (sorry for the wording) in quality, the pieces badly cut out, the back peeling off often. Took daughter and me way longer than those jigsaws we've done before! Definitely not one I will recommend! Daughter mine had wanted to head back to her flat in the morning but decided to carry on, while I was away shopping with a friend. Friend and I came back with lunch from the Turkish take-out, we had coffee and cake afterwards, and the moment friend was out of the house daughter and I finished the jigsaw for good and all. Daughter quickly packed her things and left in a hurry then, because contrary to weatherforecast, which announced no rain today, the sky looked as if ìt'd be raining soon. Twenty minutes later we had a formidable thunderstorm with lots of rain and hail even. Oh yes, I love our local weather forecast! I only hope I do not have to rely on it when planning a picnic or a grill party!
Now the sun is out again, but the combinatio of warmth and wetness is a thing I do not like at all. Tomorrow weather will be mostly the same, so I might or might not get up early, to do necessary garden work before the air gets too heavy! BTW, the camellia is still green inside the sparse branches, so maybe not all is lost, and she will get new leaves! And the fig tree, tiny as it is, not even reaching my knee, has two figs on it. Remarkable little fellow, this one!
