After three serious sneeze attacks and ensuing coughing fits I made myseld a cup of tea at three in the morning then returned to bed for some reading of terrific fanfiction, though, I have to admit, that at nighttime it is more fun to read terrifying fanfics. Exceptions prove the rule, but the younger the writers the funnier the outcome. Tonight I will return to HP fandom, for this one proves by way the most amusing. Oh, those hormone-driven teenies are wildly pairing the characters up and down the list of characters in books and movies and describe the most hilarious bedroom scenes ever. Sometimes I, a veteran of many years, am contemplating if maybe, only maybe, I have missed something in this field of work. Blessedly my brain will start working again and tell me that an ordinary household with average income will not be able to afford the budget for viagra needed for such activities! Hubby will be in for a lot more laughing fits on my part! Poor one is trying so hard to gain some sleep next to his sneezing wife, but when said wife begins to holler in amusement it´s one step more towards sleep deprivation instead of a proper rest in the marital bed! It also turned out that my cold is contagious- hubby is sneezing now, too. But he prepared a wonderful breakfast for the three of us- bacon, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon together with toasted bread. White bread often goes mouldy in summer because of the wetness in the air and needs immediate consumption. Not that it rains so often, but when it does it´s a lot of water coming down. Like yesterday, when out of the blue there was another epic thunderstorm with hail even. The window in the conservatory did its obligatory leaking, and daughter and I had to draw the table with the jigsaw aside, to save it from macerating. Hubby has cleared out the window´s gutter and thinks it will be okay for a while now. BTW, this new jigsaw is a mean one- 1000 pieces only, but we needed a lot of time to put the border together. Schnuckele almost gave us a heart attack, when she found her way into the conservatory and hopped onto the table, immediately beginning to play with the pieces. This is the way cats are...
Daughter, who was supposed to leave after breakfast managed to stay until one in the afternoon, so I served her yesterday´s lunch and cooked fresh one for hubby and me. Daughter will be back next Saturday, to give Cassian the birthday present she bought for him- Lego Ninjago, of course- and the Saturday after, to watch the last episode of HP. We will need a lot of Radler to get over all that drama! Yet I still cannot fathom how such well-developed characters made it into a children´s book!
