Whenever rain is rolling in...

 ...there´ll be a cacophony of sounds outside done by lawnmowers, grass trimmers, chainsaws and whatever gadgets people possess and which might have to spend one or more days in a garage otherwise. I am definitely not fond of those sounds. Today I felt as if being in the waiting room of a dentist. Which reminds me of the toothache I have. Why do I always get it when I have a cold? My dentist is at a loss, so I won´t bang into his office this time- x-rays always tell that there´s nothing wrong with said tooth, so neural woes have to be involved. It is already getting better, but yesterday I was not even able to touch this tooth with the tip of my tongue without having this special feeling of white hot pain going straight to the brain. Finally, just at lunchtime, rain started falling. It will stay wet for the next days, so they say. Strange- after a way too mild winter and an early spring with 30 degrees more than once temperatures dropped to a seasonable level- and below even. So while hubby was able to use the pool in May in earlier years, he will only do so in June now. That´s a lot of work preparing the pool for such a short time of use! Hubby is already lamenting a lot, but it cannot be helped!
I have finished the flower bowl for the family tomb. Hubby has already cut back the evergreens there, so I took the pot and drove to the cemetary. A big mistake- I thoroughly misjudged the distance between car and tomb. My arms feel like jelly now!
Last night has been boring- I was not able to make use of my tablet PC when sleep-deprived, because I forgot about charging and did not want to wake husband dearest to get to the charger lead, which rests on his side of the bed. The sockets on my side of the bed are all blocked by chests of drawers. So, boring night, indeed!
