Nice

 It was a nice day- 28 degrees in the afternoon. I had wanted to spend the day with crocheting and swimming, the occasional crossword puzzle and jigsaw puzzling filling the gaps- of course, after having done housework. Hubby decided to do filled champignons for lunch- the man must have gone through all advertising folders to find a shop where they sell the huge kind. Just when I thought that maybe an afternoon nap was in order, DiL called to invite us for early dinner at the inn. Dinner! Me! Of course, hubby told her we'd come. I reminded him that one of us had to stay at home and wait for Amazon delivery. Son in Croatia got his code this morning, which meant that the parcel was to arrive today. How unfair that delivery came at four in the afternoon, and there was no reason for me to stay at home anymore. Schubert, Schubert, Schubert! But it was a nice dinner, and we have just returned. Hubby was so ecstatic about the Marillenknödel we had for dessert that he promised to do them for the boys for lunch on Saturday. And dumb as I am I had thought he'd bring them back home in the morning! Silly me! Of course hubby will have them stay until they have done their after-lunch nap!
My friend decided that she won't mind doing a visit when the boys are here with us. This might turn out interesting...
