We might...

 ...get three days without rain from Saturday on. Only that those glorious temperatures above 30 degree seem to have vanished into thin air. Daughter will be happy, me not so. The nights here are cool enough to temper the heat of the day! If I resume correctly we have had one single night with tropical temperatures (20 degrees and more- we had 21, wow!). I have to repeat myself- summer here sucks. I should not have worried about a missed day at the pool- there was none. Yes, it got warm, but there was not much of sunshine to be had. Friend and I spent almost four hours in a cafe, with iced coffee and iced coffee Italian way (that was me), cake and lemonades. There was a lot of things we had to talk about- for instance, when we had given up on celebrating our birthdays in a restaurant. We are intent on reviving this custom! Hubby was not amused when I came back home later than expected- one of neighbours had called twice, to invite me to an impromptu prosecco tasting on her terrace. So good that I wasn´t at home then!This week will be completely grandchildren-free thanks to Oscar and Xaver being off with their mother for a short vacation. Next week son will take over. There might be a few days at our pool the three will have scheduled, if the weather is fine. Okay for me, the boys are well behaved, that´s what counts! The only problem is that hubby will have to do lots of Palatschinken. And no, Palatschinken are definitely not pancakes, more like crepes fried in butter, which makes them tastier!
