Grrr again!
Aug. 16th, 2024 07:09 pm Each time hubby forgets to activate the wildlife camera the strange barking sound is back again during night. We know that it´s not our marten- martens sound different. Believe me, I have watched lots of video clips on Youtube! Martens may be loud and annoying, but they definitely do not bark! Next try will be this night, but only when thunderstorms won´t interfere with the recording!
My morning got spent with housework and lunch preparation mostly. There´s so much in the fridge that needs imminent processing! Then I took my workbasket and spent some undisturbed hours on the terrace, even though swimming was not so much fun today with the strong winds which indicate a break in the weather. Oh fun, finally seasonally temperatures again- after all we have made it over 30 thrice in a row- and that´s it! Even hubby is not amused about the blatant drop of temperature on Sunday- even though he´s the one who won´t have a decent sleep when it´s too warm!
The gall- one of my friends called me today, if I already had made a plan of what to craft for this year´s Christmas! Bad enough that Cassian has watched a Youtube video clip about Halloween, before he left. Now I am getting more and more suggestions of how to do little ghosts and spiders. So sorry, but no, I am still in summer mode and intend to stay this way the next weeks! No need to torture me further! I will tell her when the time is right for me! As much as I admire other people´s skills and progress, please do not demand the same of me- I am a lazy bum, and it always takes a lot of time for me to put myself into autumnal and, even worse, wintery modus!
