There has to be another one!

 Yesterday evening hubby went to use the bathroom but returned in a hurry, grabbing a fly swatter (our house is full of them in any shade of colour, since the terrace door is open almost all day long, and flies love a good sightseeing tour inside our house) and the wasp spray. Turned out that seven more hornets were having a blast in the loo. After a short but heavy battle hornets got eliminated, and hubby made it out of the battle unscathed. Strong winds had lifted a tiny part of the (cheap) insect net, and those idiot beasts came to play inside- but not in our backyard! Hubby fixed the net in the morning but still has to find the new hornet nest. If it´s in a place they won´t disturb us hornets can stay, otherwise not. It´s not that those beasts are aggressive, but with young children around the house you never know! Besides, young children are back again from holiday in Romania- earlier than expected, because Flavius had some sort of accident, but this tale hasn´t been told to us yet. Now guess who will get dropped at our house tomorrow afternoon? And all that after sister mine thought it would be nice to drop in in the morning. Family is okay, but too much of family is not!

I had my comfort shopping day this morning, though only a short one. First I was not able to use the motorway because of traffic jam. Then the shopping centre I wanted to visit was overrun by tourists, especially those parts with toy shops- apparently it is very hard to keep children busy when it´s raining. Okay, it has been raining a lot since yesterday and is raining still- the fields around are practically under water. And it is really cool outside- sixteen degrees. But for heaven´s sake- do all these children need new toys all of a sudden? I really should have done shopping on Saturday!
Hubby is off to Don Giovanni today. I am torn between watcching a movie or read fanfiction. I think I will be going for the first and do the reading during night. My idea was to give LotR a retry, but I had to admit to myself that I have drifted off Tolkien-related stuff, and this did not happen recently but for some time past. Must have been the shock of watching two episodes of the Rings of Power. That really did it, that and the fact that they are trying to promote the new season like mad at the moment. No, thanks...
