Tired

 The drive to Lower Austria per se was not what set my teeth on the edge. It was more the unscrupulous ignoring of traffic laws done by Romanian and Bulgarian truck drivers- there was a situation when all of the three traffic lanes got blocked because of a private truck race- for kilometres!
Son´s house is void of furnishing and doors, only the ruined kitchen is still inside. There were a lot of helpers at work already and we simply joined them, washing clay off the walls, tearing off skirting boards, cleaning windows. There´s so much that needs cleaning...I was outside to scrub toys- the childsren´s rooms had been the first ones which got flooded, not a single toy made it out unscathed. Elsa is happy, she has her princess castle back. Matthäus´s favourite toy died in the flood- Christkindl will have to bring a new Duplo train. At four in the afternoon we left, hubby bought pizzas on the way home, and now we are resting. Tomorrow number two and hubby will cover the pool while I will do spareribs for early lunch- family number two has free tickets for the circus. Isn´t it sad that they won´t be able to stay the whole afternoon :))
