I hate my teeth
Sep. 30th, 2024 07:24 pm My dentist appointment was at nine in the morning, so I had to get up earlier than usual. Not a problem- one of the farmers around had decided that six in the morning was the correct time to start carting the cow dung out. I had to endure both the sound of the tractor and the pungent smell, because the bedroom window was open, and I did not want to leave the cosy bed because of the cold.
At the dentist I got one filling, the verification that I needed another crown and an X-ray which showed that the nerv of the tooth which acted strange had probably died. In three weeks I'll be back for the crown. And if the toothache will be back I am in for a root treatment...
Back home I daughter and I did some jigsawing before I had a look at the clock- it was about time to prepare lunch! Daughter did roasted chicken breasts then she wanted to do the risotto, too- only that we had forgotten to soak the dried mushrooms, which takes half an hour. Needless to say that we had a late lunch today. Before I even made it to the bedroom for a nap a neighbour showed up. She needs hubby's help with the removal of furnishing. Sister does so, too. Now I am glad that hubby has some distraction, but distraction also involves the absence of my car. I still haven't been able to do the drive to the shopping centre, so no crafting supplies, and worse- no wool! Which is bad, because I am not able to start Elsa's cardigan!
