When I read the weather forecast telling me that there'd be rain in maybe one hour I took a look out of the window and said no. One hour later the sun was out- we had foehn again, and I loved it. No headache today (usually happens with foehn) but full spring feeling. At midday we were up to 18 degrees, and it was lovely! Hubby and I took the outdoor chairs and had coffee and Dubai Krapfen on the terrace. I still wonder what the correct term for Krapfen is in English. Probably not donut, as my dictionary tries to tell me. In my opinion a donut has a hole in the middle- so where would one hide the noodle chocolate?
Hubby was off for shopping while I did a quick bathroom- makeover. The big makeover will have to wait, because IKEA does not have in stock what I need- waiting time one month at the minimum. Hubby brought Berner Würstel for lunch but forgot about rolls. So I got a first taste of the whole-grain bread he has for breakfast, which will crumble if you try to spread butter on it. Tastes great but is definitely not jam-friendly. After lunch hubby rested, while I did more LEGO building. Accomplished bag three and four, before I gave up. My fingers are definitely not made for patching small pieces of plastic, in case I will even find them, because my eyes don´t work well anymore.
Sister mine called in the afternoon. She had been in town for a certificate of registration. She got told that she was always only registered in our parent´s flat as secondary residence. Now she´d like to know where her main residence was supposed to be- my parents bought the flat in 1960, when my sister was born. And no, we did not go over the border as implied, my father worked as a civil servant until he retired and did not feel like moving to Munich. Someone has been very, very sloppy during the process of digitalisation! Now I am tempted to get me a historical certificate of registration, too! Depends on what it will cost, I´d say!
Soon afterwards daughter´s godmother blew in. She brought rice, lots of it. Her son´s friend is closing his reataurant (so she says) and gives grocery away. What the heck will I do with five kilos of rice? That´s more than we eat during a year! And no, I won´t do pudding rice. After delivering three boys all I got at the neonatal ward was pudding rice then semolina porridge- repeat! I get stomachache only when seeing it!
