Weather ping-pong, Alpine style

 So yesterday we had foehn during day and changing winds in the late afternoon. Things blown from south to north were at the place they had started their journey from again. Only that when I went to bed foehn came back with a vengeance to wreak havoc again. Rain stopped, stars were out- hubby went out to retrieve two flower pots which were on their way off to the street then went to bed. I listened to the clattering of the shutters then slept. During night winds changed again and brought more rain and clattering, but in the morning the sun was out, and now I had a headache- finally, foehn brought about some effect! I got up, already a tad grumpy. One of the few things I love with mornings is the daily newspaper. Only that today's morning wasn't a good one, and not because of the headache alone- the dailies was soaking wet. Our newspaper deliverer must have seen too many American movies- he/she throws the newspaper. But our entry area is a narrow one (but has a nice newspaper tube), and he/she misses now and then. And when there's rain... During morning the weather turned from warm and sunny to cold and rainy. For some time it was sleeting even. Hubby braved the weather and was off once again, to buy baguette. He'd never have toasted American sandwich to the Mexican casserole I did for lunch. Because toast is for toasts with cheese or ham or both and nothing else. Not that hubby likes toasts, yet I fear I will do a lot of them now, to avoid mouldy bread...
Since temperatures have dropped drastically outside the studio is now too cold, too- hubby is on his way to turn the heating on. I think he really does not like me sporting another round o sniffles- most likely he is afraid of catching my head cold. No one likes to be on the verge of dying this often (we already did quite a lot of cold runs this winter).
Today is Oskar´s birthday, but the poor guy will be in school until evening. Once again our family did the obligatory Whatsapp posting. I so love it, because we have a group for each family there. This time son number three set off the avalanche. Now all mobiles will send notifications that someone has posted birthday wishes. Sorry, but I had to put mine on silent then. Too many congratulating participants, too many thanks on behalf of Oskar.
